The last year has seen us bring you some pretty special gigs and we want to push things forward so keep your ears to the ground for some big announcements coming!

What better way to launch Septembers gig calendar than our good friends the amazing WET NUNS!! This night of dirty blues features support from Cut Your Wings, Dead Delta, The Monicans & opening The Acoustic Conquistador!

Wet Nuns

Wet Nuns is a venture into the blues; deep South Yorkshire rootsy blues and modern lo-fi blues-punk from Sheffield, Alabama!
They was taught the way of the blues-punk by musical legends 'Blind Pimpley Johnson' and 'Les Blues', with some input from Mr 'Salty Badness' himself!
A ride into the dark and subversive world of the Wet Nuns is something to be cherished sir yessiree bob....
The ramblings of Otis "Buffalo Curtains" Beaver and Enit "Wired Earp" Pudweiser are the punkist thang yool ever seen.....

Cut Your Wings

Cut Your Wings are a 4 piece currently breaking onto the British music scene. With loud, brash vocals, cutting riffs and pounding rhythms their style is unlike any other bands at the moment.
The band have begun to create quite a stir with their powerful live shows and are now preparing to release their self titled debut ep.
Watch this space and prepare to cut your wings!

The Dead Delta

The Dead Delta have speedily gained a fierce reputation as one of the city's finest live bands, exporting their own brand of uncompromising rock 'n' roll, strewn with explosive riffs and driving rhythms. Comparisons have been made to such luminaries as The Black Keys, The Datsuns and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and have been described as “Rock ‘n’ Roll in it’s purest form” (Square Indie) The past years live exploits have seen The Dead Delta share the bill with bands as diverse as The Pigeon Detectives, Ida Maria and Ocean Colour Scene.
“Here is some serious downright dirty blues, surprisingly from a Sheffield five-piece. Ferocious guitar riffs are coupled with some gruff vocals, the obvious influence being The Black Keys. The mix of blues and dark country sounds reassuringly authentic and, as they boast, must be a force to be reckoned with live” - Channel 4

The Monicans

The Monicans are a 3 piece psychedelic alt rock band based in Sheffield.
"I love how the band uses light, easy listening and heavy rock riffs interspersed with each other, it makes for a great sound - Daz Walsh, Sheffield Music Scene

The Acoustic Conquistador

The Acoustic Conquistador is a self taught classical/flamenco guitarist who plays with natural flair and exhuberance. His expansive dynamic variations can take you through journeys ranging from beatiful, delicate whispering tones and melodies to the literal beating and banging of his guitar. His repertoire consists of well known pieces such as Mason Williams 'Classical gas'(conquistador mixup) and Tarregas 'Capricho Arabe' to his own blistering compositions such as 'Black Coffee', 'Rabbits' and 'Up Hill Backwards' His performances are not a recital, his charasmatic banter brings an explanation and joy to his music.

DJ's

Their lives dwindle in unemployment and expensive jackets so that the can "sign on" whilst looking the part.

Seize The Chair

Darke Horse

Darke Horse's rollercoaster ride to the here-and-now started at the end of 2007 in Sheffield, after friends Simon Kaviani, Chris Gill, Joe Pearson and Jonno Lodge resolved to bring entertaining rock back into the mainstream. Little did they think that the following six months would take from the humble surroundings of the back of a cushion factory to the middle of a recording studio with local producer legend Alan Smyth.

Avida Dollars

DJ's
